POS - AQUIRING MARKET

The acquiring business includes establishing and maintaining merchant relationships in which the data relating to a transaction from the merchant or card acceptor is processed. The acquirer enables merchants to accept MasterCard ® cards at their establishments and provides MasterCard ® holders with the ability to use their cards.

ICC has been in the acquiring business since mid 2001. Since then, ICC has gained a massive share of the market. It has rapidly become the market leader and trendsetter regarding this aspect of the industry.

ICC has signed a co-operational agreement with VISA Jordan in late September 2002 for joining forces in providing MasterCard ® and VISA acquiring services on a single machine, reducing merchant clutter. The ICC Point of Sale (POS service) will accept all MasterCard ® and MasterCard ® Electronic Cards.

CO-BRANDED MASTERCARD® CARDS

Co-Branding combines the power and reach of our financial institution with the extended benefits, strength, recognition and appeal of a partner brand to deliver card programs that are important to consumers.

ICC is the first and the only MasterCard® service provider in Jordan to offer MasterCard® Co-Branded Cards. It is a program that is customized to meet the needs of a corporation’s particular target audience. This program allows the partner to combine his brand with the MasterCard® brand. It aims to provide its target audience with its loyalty scheme and the global utility of MasterCard®.

CONSUMER CARDS

Standard MasterCard® Card
The MasterCard ® Card is the general-purpose payment card.

Gold MasterCard® Card
The Gold MasterCard ® Card is the payment card for customers with a higher line of credit as determined by the credit committee. The line of credit cannot be less than 1000 JOD.

The above cards are available in two forms:

Revolving Credit
A revolving credit card gives the holder the option of paying in monthly installments. It offers interest free credit for up to 48 days on purchases after which a monthly interest rate is charged on outstanding balances. This is available in Revolving Standard MasterCard ® card and in Revolving Gold MasterCard ® card.

Charge Cards
A charge card allows the holder to enjoy a monthly line of credit which is paid back in full at the end of the month. This allows holders to defer payments to the end of the month. This is available in Standard MasterCard ® Charge Card and in Gold MasterCard ® Charge Card.

ICC/ValuePlus Card

ICC/ValuePlus MasterCard cardholders have the convenience of a revolving credit card while obtaining instant and various discounts ranging from 10% to 50% on products and services from a select variety of outlets including restaurants, pubs, health clubs, car rentals, travel agents, gift shops, flower shops, men's and women's apparel, hotels, and even wedding services, just to mention a few. The annual fee is only JD25.

CORPORATE CARDS (Revolving)

ICC can offer the staff of various establishments an alternate financial solutions option to issue Revolving MasterCard ® Credit Cards with the following features:

It is an International card and can be used anywhere at anytime (locally & internationally).
It offers an extra measure of security and protection especially when traveling overseas.
ICC MasterCard ® Cards are Revolving Credit, this will allow Cardholders to settle their account in installments, which means that cardholders pay a minimum payment of 10% of their monthly bill with a minimum of JOD 50 for Gold Credit and JOD 25 for Standard Credit, and this provides the flexibility they need to manage their financial positions.
Cash withdrawal is possible using credit cards; transaction fees will be 4%, with a minimum of 4 JD for each transaction.
Interest rate: 1.67% monthly.
Card Annual Fees are dependant on the amount of cards requested.
Late payments and penalties for exceeding the limit are 2.5% of the total outstanding balance or JD5.
With a Grace period up to 49 days.
The establishment will carry no financial responsibility.

The requirements for attaining regular MasterCard Credit Cards for individual staff members are:

National Identification
Completed application with signatures
Proof of Salary
Signature on Bill of Payment
A bank statement for the last 3-6 months
The employee must have completed the training or probation phase to apply.

CORPORATE CARDS (Charge)

The MasterCard ® Corporate Card is a MasterCard ® card designed to provide the holder with the convenience of monitoring employees’ corporate expenditures. It is issued in the name of the company and provides the corporate users with flexible travel services such as special rates and discounts.

Corporate Cards contain the cardholder and company name, the credit card would be a Charge card. A Charge card provides a monthly line of credit which is paid back in full at the end of the month i.e. deferring payments to the end of the month. The due amount will be debited to the company’s account, this procedure simplifies the corporate expense process and increases management control. Transactions are done with JOD denominations. Details such as the annual fee can be negotiated and determined by both parties according to the number of cards desired.

PRE-PAID MASTERCARD® CARDS

The MasterCard ® Pre-Paid Card is a MasterCard ® card designed specifically to provide the holder with enhanced security and a creative Gift idea.

NetSmart MasterCard® Card:

Can be used for Internet purchases and for mail order transactions with a credit limit equal to the charged amount requested by the cardholder. The charged amount is pre-deposited at any branch. The NetSmart Pre-Paid Card allows ICC to provide clients with the means to shop online or place orders over the phone with the utmost peace of mind.

GiftCardMasterCard® Card:

Is the Future of Gifts provided customers with a convenient, secure and creative gift idea suitable for all occasions which. The gift giver has the choice of card design with a selection of 9 different designs (All Occasion, Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary/Valentines, Merry Christmas, Happy Eid, Wedding, New Born, Graduation and Mothers Day). The gift giver also has the choice of placing an embossed personal greeting on the card. The gift is then nicely packaged and delivered to the recipient’s door. The prepaid ICC Gift Card takes only 24 hours to process and can be used anywhere the MasterCard Electronic brand is displayed. The GiftCard can be recharged for continual use.

AFFILIATE MASTERCARD® CARDS

Affiliate Cards are issued by ICC to Jordan Kuwait Bank, Export & Finance Bank and the Egyptian Arab Land Bank. These cards are distributed from the affiliate banks and can be Charge, Revolving and Prepaid. They can be issued in both Gold and Standard. The above mentioned banks set there own unique regulations and rules.

BECOMING A MONEYGRAM SUBAGENT THROUGH ICC

Becoming a MoneyGram subagent through International Cards Company (ICC) is a hassle free and easy process, contact us in order to obtain a more detailed description of our services and how MoneyGram can benefit your business. ICC will gather all necessary information regarding your organization, once approved, ICC will be responsible for installing the MoneyGram software on subagent computers. International Cards Company will equip subagent staff with the proper training in implementing financial transactions. The required software will be connected through local telephone lines affiliated with MoneyGram in order to transfer transactions to the main network located in the United State of America, cost will be covered by MoneyGram.
